Confessional
Creeds and Confessions
This means that, as a church, we affirm specific statements of belief called creeds and confessions. These statements are biblically based and were written to respond to issues by explaining in detail what the church believes about those topics. The Valley Remnant Church is founded on a commitment to historic Christianity as expressed in the Holy Scriptures. We believe the best expression of the system of doctrine that is contained in the Holy Scriptures is set forth in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith.
Baptistic
Historical Baptist Beliefs
The Valley Remnant Church is made up of professed believers who have faith in Jesus Christ, who have been baptized, and who strive to live holy lives in the face of God and man. While we may be associated with other like-minded churches and conventions, we are independent and free to govern the life of the church to meet the needs of our community as we follow the standards of the Holy Scriptures, our confession of faith, and the church covenants.
Elder-Led
Church Office
The Valley Remnant Church is an Elder-Led and congregational-ruled church. A local church, gathered and fully organized according to the mind of Christ, consists of officers and members. The officers appointed by Christ are elders, and deacons.
